This is Henny Penny. She is at the top of the pecking order besides my two roosters, Goldie and Collar.

This is Snowy, one of my hens.

This is Lonely. When the chickens were young, she got pecked alot and 1 of her toes is missing.

Here is Goldie my pet rooster. He is 5 months old in this picture.

Here are the 2 chicks when they are 1 month and 2 weeks old.

Here is my flock of chickens (without the mother hen and her 2 chicks) in August 2007. The flock is very small now (only 7 birds) because 2 dogs attacked.

Here is my flock of chickens in April (2007).
Here is my flock of chickens last August (2006).

This is the mother of my 2 new chicks.

Here is Collar, the rooster at the top of the pecking order.

The Bronx Zoo

I went to the Bronx Zoo on the 8th of July.

The first animals I saw were African Wild Dogs and Giraffes. They were pretty.

Then I went to the Congo Gorilla Forest and saw a South African Black and White Colabus Monkey, some Okapis, Fresh Water Butterfly Fish, Congo Tetras, a Duck with little cute Ducklings, some Gorillas (including a Silver-Back and a mommy and baby), a De Brazza’s Monkey and Mandrill, Red River Hogs and a HUGE Elephant foot print.

There was a neat Bug Carousel.

In the Children's Zoo there were Fennec Foxes, Tortoises, Prairie Dogs, Goats, and lots of other animals.

In the Mouse House there were Acuchis, Chinchillas, Degus, Four Striped Grass Mice, Wild Guinea Pigs (Cavys), Tree Cavys, and Patagonian Cavys and lots of other cute little critters.

I road on the Skyfari cable car and saw Gelada (Bleeding Heart) Baboons.

I saw an Electric Catfish, a Babirusa and Termite mound. The Termite mound had a Camara sticking into it and there was a video of the inside.

It was a really fun zoo!
