Gerbils!
I got two cute little female gerbils! Their names are Sunflower and Peanut. Sunflower is light gray with a white spot on her head with pink eyes (spotted lilac albino). Peanut is a golden brown gerbil with black eyes and a white belly (golden agouti).
I feed them my own custom mixed organically grown food, which consists of: spelt berries, millet, yellow split peas, flax seeds, and goji berries.
Some treats I give them include: fresh spelt grass, fresh carrot greens.
I also give these to them: pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, peanuts, cashews, pecans, extra virgin coconut oil, raw cheese, fresh fruits & veggies, and dried apple. I use a mix of clay, and alfalfa hay as bedding . I use CareFresh and paper for nesting material. I give them cardboard tubes for tunnels but they just like to chew on them.
